Program and schedule
The program is an eleven days round trip – Rishikesh –Gangotri- Gorukh (Ganges source) Rishikesh

  • 2 days of visit, meditation and mental preparation in Rishikesh
  • 2 days travel to Gangotri with many stops to several amazing holy places
  • 3 days of acclimation, exploration and stunningly deep meditation in Gangotri
  • 3 days of walking to the Gorukh the source of Ganges
  • 1 day travel back to Rishikesh

Option: remaining a few more days to Gangotri to relish more of the incomparable deep meditation state that is easy to achieve in this most peaceful and gorgeously scenic site.

Gangotri Temple
This 18th century tmple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. According the another legend, Pandavas performed the great Deva Yagna here to atone the deaths of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharata. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite

  • Rishikesh can easily be reached from a 4 hours Express train departed from New Delhi.
  • Register rapidly this spiritual adventure is limited to a group of twelve persons to ensure you an ultimate experience in the best conditions.
  • Since the trek is reaching an altitude of 4000 meters some people might feel the effects the altitude but this will be greatly minimized by 3 days of acclimation in pilgrim village of Gangotri.
  • We nonetheless require all the participants to be in a very good shape. The three days trek is not so difficult in elevation but the lack of oxygen make it surprisingly more difficult than usual.
